Hokkaido University

Hokkaido University is one of Japan's leading universities, housing many world-renowned research institutes in material science, organic chemistry, food safety, and veterinary science. Beginning in 2015, the Faculty of Public Health at Thammasat University has been working closely with the Research Center for Zoonosis Control at Thammasat University on research projects related to OneHealth and food safety issues. Based on this research partnership, Thammasat University hosted a symposium on OneHealth in November 2016 where researchers and professors from Thailand and Japan discussed and shared their research findings. The two institutions are currently developing on a joint graduate degree program in infectious diseases.
